Rolana Rashwan is a multidisciplinary professional with 20 years of experience in consulting, sustainable development, and strategic marketing. Between 2016 and 2022, Rolana has led the analyst relations and international marketing at the IT Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), the executive arm of the Egyptian Ministry of CIT. She has been influential in promoting the Egyptian IT and business services industry and positioning Egypt as a leading global offshoring hub. She has also contributed to the development and promotion of emerging GBS locations across Africa. Over the past two years, Rolana has been leading the delivery of consulting services for Africa at Simon-Kucher.
Rolana is passionate about creating opportunities, markets development, and international cooperation.
Rolana holds an MSc in Sustainable Development from University of London and BSc in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Cairo University.
