Annabell Kreuzer is an economist with a passion for bringing together development cooperation and private sector, especially in the field of BPO and IT. After researching about motives for companies to join development projects in Sub-Saharan Africa at the German Development Institute (DIE), she joined GIZ – the development agency of the German government – in 2016. Her first GIZ station led her to Algeria before working in Tanzania and the rest of East Africa for several years. Since summer 2020 she works for the Special Initiative Decent Work for a Just Transition as a team lead and advisor for BPO and digital services, with a focus on Rwanda, Ghana and Egypt. She supports the institution building of the Digital Skills Accelerator Africa (DSAA), which enables digital companies to invest and create jobs in Africa.
